Check this document for risky content?
Some content doesn't survive export cleanly (see Settings for details) — this scans for it now, before you start editing, and automatically patches anything at risk using OCR and a targeted image capture. Takes a few extra seconds on upload.

Balanced
Controls how confident the app needs to be before it turns something on the page into a selectable box, line, or shape. Stricter means fewer wrong or phantom detections, but it may also miss faint or thin real content. Lenient catches more real content, at the cost of occasionally creating something out of nothing. Applies the next time a page is opened or re-scanned — it won't re-check pages already loaded.
Shows a quick prompt each time you open a document, letting you choose whether to run the risky-content check for that file specifically.
On upload, scans for content that would silently lose detail on export and automatically fixes it. Used automatically, without a prompt, whenever "Ask before each upload" above is off.

Export resolution
Every export renders each page to a fixed image internally (so text stays selectable/searchable in a real, non-vector PDF) — this is what controls how sharp that comes out. Higher means crisper text and images, especially for print, at the cost of a larger file and a slower export.
DPI
By default, every export strips Title/Author/Subject/Keywords/Creator/Producer entirely, so nothing about how or where the file was made leaks out. Check this to set your own values instead of stripping them.
